We did it!

Thank you for your generous donations over the holiday season.  We were delighted that so many of you purchased chickens and trees as holiday gifts for your friends and families. Your gifts totaled 222 egg-laying hens, 351 citrus trees, a month's worth of meals for boarding students, and BEST OF ALL.... money for a new water well on campus! That's right! We made it to our $3000 goal to rebuild a new water well, with money left over to repair the septic system as well.

"Build a well" fundraiser

Thank you for your devotion to the Refuge of Hope in 2011. We are thankful for your care and support. Your donations have provided a full year of food (3 meals a day), electricity and running water for children with disabilities in Peru. Your donations funded major repairs to classrooms, and to the school's leaky plumbing system, which reduced the cost of electricity by $200 a month.  Your donations also provided school supplies, toiletries and new bunkbeds for our boarding students.
